Customer Service Representative

  • $13.00 - $14.00 an hour
  • Temp to Hire: This is a way for clients and talent to test the waters. It allows potential employees to prove themselves to the company and see if the culture is a good fit. Likewise, it allows the client to test the candidate for a certain period of time. During the contract period, the talent is employed by Wood Personnel Services.

A West Nashville insurance company has an excellent opportunity for an Customer Service Representative who would be responsible for working as a liaison between the customers and insurance carriers in an effort to get life applications approved. In order to be successful in this role, previous customer service call center experience is required. A high level of organization and multitasking abilities are necessary as well.

Compensation for the Customer Service Representative

  • $13.00 - $14.00 an hour (depending upon experience and testing scores)

Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Excellent phone presence and writing skills
  • Typing speed minimum 45 WPM
  • Must be extremely customer focused and organized
  • Must be a top level multi-tasker
  • An enthusiastic and compassionate personality

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Liaison between insurance carriers and customers
  • Very high volume of work including phone and email
  • Assist customers with any inquiries
  • Manage dual-monitor screens and multi-line phone
