Logistics Shipping Clerk



Pay Rate: $13.50 - $15.00 an hour. We are currently seeking experienced, Shipping Clerks for several logistic centers located in Mt. Juliet, TN. These positions will involve providing administrative support for all shift personnel and outside suppliers, tracking all incoming and outgoing shipments, daily paperwork, emails, and excellent customer service. These are true temp to hire opportunities.

Logistics Shipping Clerk Compensation and Hours:

• $13.50 - $15.00 an hour (depending on shift)
• 1st, 2nd and Weekend Shifts available

Logistics Shipping Clerk Skills and Qualifications: 

• Must have at least 1 year of shipping clerk experience, previous logistics experience preferred 
• Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Data Entry)
• Experience with SAP shipping software, VendorNet, VendorCentral, etc. preferred
• High school Diploma or GED 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Logistics Shipping Clerk Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Administrative support, including data entry, customer service and basic office duties
• Ensure product and shipment markings are in accordance with customer requirements
• Ensure shipment notifications are updated as required and meet expected ship dates
• Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up in accordance with customer’s routing guide
• Perform shipping duties which includes using a computer
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
