Bilingual Customer Service Representative 

  • La Vergne, TN.
  • $15.00 an hour
  • Temp to Hire: This is a way for clients and talent to test the waters. It allows potential employees to prove themselves to the company and see if the culture is a good fit. Likewise, it allows the client to test the candidate for a certain period of time. During the contract period, the talent is employed by Wood Personnel Services.

Wood Personnel Services in partnership with a distribution center in LaVergne, TN is now hiring for a Customer Service Representative that is bilingual in both English and French. This role is responsible for promoting sales, processing orders by entering and retrieving customer information using AS400.

Compensation and Hours for Bilingual Customer Service Representative    

  • $15.00 an hour (depending on experience)
  • Overtime and weekends may be required depending on the needs of the business.

Requirements of Bilingual Customer Service Representative    

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in both French and English
  • Stable and progressive work history 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years’ experience in all cycles of customer service (to include credits, debits, and returns), data entry and telephone skills
  • Experience with AS400 preferred
  • Excellent telephone communication skills required
  • Must be familiar with general office equipment such as computer, calculator, fax machine, copier, and telephone

Responsibilities of Bilingual Customer Service Representative:

  • Enter and retrieve customer information using the AS400 system
  • Enter orders, including customer information (i.e. phone, fax, e-mail, EDI)
  • Research and follows up on customer issues in a timely manner
  • Responds quickly to customer questions
  • Communicates product information and policy and procedure information in an effective and positive manner to internal/external customers
